The Alabama Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy funded a survey through the University of South Alabama ti determine parent attitudes about sexual health education in Alabama public schools. The survey revealed that the majority of parents with children in public schools (82.7%) want sex education taught in public schools. The survey also sheds light on the type of sex education parents want their children to learn, including information about STDs, HIV, AIDS, birth control, and condoms. The entire report and infographic can be found on our Resource page.
