The internal/female condom, FC2, will no longer be available at the pharmacy. The company that makes FC2, Veru Health, has made FC2 available only with a prescription going forward. They believe that with prescription coverage, more people will utilize FC2 condoms. Opponents of the move say people without insurance will be unable to easily access the FC2 condom, and if they can access it, the price will be more expensive.
