If you’re following us on social media, chances are you’ve seen our new 2015 YRBS fact sheet. The fact sheet highlights several sexual risk behaviors that Alabama high schoolers engage in. We’re happy to report that there have been declines in frequency of sex and number of sexual partners, and that young people are delaying sexual debut. Unfortunately the number of young people who used a condom during their last sexual encounter has declined. So while we see declining teen pregnancy and birth rates, we are beginning to see more cases of STIs and HIV in young people. Check out the fact sheet on our website, and feel free to use it in your work!
