The Alabama Campaign is pleased to release its 2021 Policy Positions. Most policy recommendations mirror recommendations made in previous years, including recommendations to update the sexual health education law to be medically accurate and remove homophobic language and a call to expand Medicaid so all Alabamians have access to sexual and reproductive healthcare. New this year is a call to the field of public health to address racial health disparities in sexual and reproductive health.

The Alabama Campaign remains committed to advocate on behalf of these policies in 2021 and beyond. We are watching this legislative session closely and call on Alabama legislators to work in the best interest of young people in Alabama.
