The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy
Teens consistently report that their parents most influence their decisions around sex and relationships. New data from the National Campaign reveals how those “trusted adults” view themselves. Ninety percent of those surveyed say they believe that young people should have a trusted source or network of trusted sources to talk about sensitive topics. The older respondents were, the more likely they were to have confidence that they were a trusted adult in the life of a young person. The full survey can be viewed on the National Campaign website.
