Aiesha Gentry is the Program Coordinator at the Alabama Campaign for Adolescent Sexual Health. Aiesha comes to the Alabama Campaign with a wealth of experience in the social services sector. With a successful career in Compliance and Regulation, Training and Professional Development, Risk Management, Marketing and Communications, Aiesha has a passion for policy and education and strives to dedicate her life’s purpose to cultivating under-served and at-risk communities and youth.
Aiesha has previous experience working with at-risk youth residing in Lee County, Ala. She has had the opportunity to educate and advocate for the adherence of youth and client rights and assisted with the implementation of trauma-informed care practices for social service agencies. Aiesha has facilitated strategic planning sessions and training workshops various audiences. Aiesha has worked with Emerge Community Solutions as the Program Director; Lee County Youth Development Center as the Professional Development, Risk Management, and Performance Quality Improvement Manager; and Montgomery Education Foundation as the Marketing and Social Media Specialist. Her career experience has provided a sound foundation for non-profit administration practices.
Aiesha is a member of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce 20 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Program, Phi Kappa Theta, and the National Alliance for Children and Families. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Mass Communication from Auburn University and has plans to pursue her Master of Science in Information Management Systems.
