Alabama Community Leaders’ Perspectives Regarding Sexual Health Education in Alabama Communities

In Fall 2017 the Alabama Campaign surveyed Alabama Children’s Policy Council members about their perspectives on sexual health education in their community. Community leaders overwhelmingly agreed that sexual health education should include more information than abstinence, and that the young people in their communities need this information because they are engaging in sexual risk taking behaviors.
